Google Drive & Maps - Display problems, weird multiple symbols displayed

I had the same problem as this person http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/drive/2_2J-z82tvk 

This is probably caused by one of the chrome extensions. Maps and docs work fine in Incognito mode.
